WHEREAS current import rules prohibit us from being able to do that regarding workers who are exploited, be it hereby
RESOLVED a worker’s rights tariff proportional to the variance of the workers’ conditions relative to OSHA shall be levied and further,
RESOLVED, one half of the tariff shall be held in a trust fund and remitted to the importer upon presentation of valid receipts and proof of upgrade of working conditions and hours.
This bill shall be eased in gradually over a 60 month period.
