Response of Mohammed Omar to Mahmoud Ghozlan re: Freedom in Egypt

If God is the only 100% independence, then when our prophet Mohammed, may peace be upon him, advised, “Whoever is closer,” in response to the muslims’ question, “Who should we follow after you are dead?” – was he, like you, Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, advising us to guide one another closer to independent freedom [thn/] …freedom to fulfill [[[thn/]]] the five pillars of faith as we each best see fit?

Unity is the first pillar of faith – La il aha il la Allah, ashadu Mohammedan ur rasulluulah,” Freedom to fulfill unity by reaching unanimous consensus […jet] requires circles of conversation after prayers and finding remedies from the Qur~an and Haddith to answer whose complaints.

“What do you want to do that who will not let you do?”

Each of us has the duty to personalize our complaints by answering this question.

it is not enough to say, SCAF is being unfair and insecure, and hoarding power out of an unfounded fear the MB is not yet sufficiently organized with a detailed agenda, [[”’thnk]] and petitions, and volunteers to back it up regarding “rebuilding the institutions of Egypt”.

Instead, who must personalize the complaint. For example,
1. “I want to inspect Egyptian Federal grain warehouse #29, [thnk/] but SCAF will not let me,” or
2. “I want to apply for a job to work at the Aswan Dam, [[Thock]] but SCAF will not let me,” or,
3. “I want to advise my Governorate officials on how to vote with the other Governorates to send a constitutional amendment to the General Assembly, or the people, but SCAF will not let me,” or
4. “I want to form a stronger family by inviting three other brothers to marry with four sisters so we can have a big family without being greedy because
4.1. we will have eight (8) parents for our eight (8) children,
4.2. out grow* jealousy, and
4.3. be peacefully strong by keeping both our prayer schedule and our one night [[thnk/]] alone with each other schedule**, but SCAF will not let me,”

This makes freedom about remedying what who is doing to block the freedom of whom else vs. simply trying to change the behavior of whom without drawing the connection specifically of how what they are doing prevents you from being able to do what you have the right to do – as long as no one could reasonably misunderstand, or get sick, or get hurt. Isn’t that right?

In an interview with Saudi newspaper “Alyoum”, Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, Media Spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), said that the Brotherhood agrees on the importance of expediting the presidential elections with proper constitutional procedures. Concerning the handover of power to the People’s Assembly Speaker, Ghozlan said the Brotherhood did not endorse this call, and that MB members who demanded that were expressing their personal opinions.

Concerning allegations of foreign finding, Ghozlan dismissed them as “Fabrications” and “Lies” and that whoever said that should be subject to investigation.

With regard to MB’s stance toward presidential elections candidacy, Ghozlan reaffirmed that MB’s final decision is not to field a Presidential candidate, and that MB stands at equal distance from the current candidates.

Further, Ghozlan stressed that MB has no objection against bringing forward the presidential elections, saying that “the country now needs to appeal to reason, build the institutions of the state, and take the right path towards the handover of power.”

On the issue of personal freedoms, Ghozlan reiterated that they are part and parcel of Sharia (Islamic law), citing Imam Hassan al-Banna’s saying: “Government is one of the pillars of Islam; freedom is one of its duties”. So, Ghozlan explained, “freedoms of personal belief, work, movement, association, travel and movement are all part and parcel of Islamic law. Therefore, the public is guaranteed freedoms safeguarded for them by the law itself.”

Asked about the priorities for the MB at the moment, Ghozlan said: “There is no doubt that our top priorities are freedoms, economy and social justice, then security. Those are the foundations of any society, with which it can rise and develop.”
